skill interface
sometimes there are so many skills that i dont know what i dont have
so i thought about it...and got an idea lets say a profession has total 100 skills. the skill interface will display icons for all 100 skills but an icon will display brightly if you have that skill...and faintly if you dont. display will be organized so that you will see skills you have first, follow by skills you dont have, in your preferred order. if you have two identical skill than it will say "X2" beside the icon what do you think? i just want to know the skills i dont have...so that i can look for it more easily (in-game). it would be helpful for beginners too did i post this on correct place? Dunno if this is the right place or not. I will say you have a nice idea to a point. I'd tend to think this is good idea for skills you can get from missions up to maybe Lyon's Arch, or only "basic skills" up to that point. The more elite and rare skills to me would remain a pleasant surprise when you get or learn of them, so you really never know when you found all your skills and Arena.net could add more whenever they want to. Right now I think it is 75 per profession. It'd be neat if they changed that to "at least 75 per profession." Then you wouldn't know when you completed the skill tree, but by then at least you know you're strong enough to look for as many as you can find. Anyway, just saw your thread and thought to share some ideas. Peace man

but if i know what im missing...i can easily find and acquire it. it would be nice for beginners(like me ) to learn what kinds of skills are out there in-game...rather than exit the game, and visit fan site everytime for skill lists(kinda tedious sometime) to learn and plan skill acquisition Last edited by Kirbie; Apr 08, 2005 at 04:07 PM // 16:07.. |
